Lucka Kuhna plays together since the year 2011, when a bunch of teachers from the Waldorf School of Ljubljana decided that they will not simply be a Proms act of the day, but will continue on rocking with their members.
The band took the name after their punk song that they played on the prom night. Not so much because it plays in the building which used to be a public kitchen.
“Lucka Kuhna” is Lucka (“public”) because it's open towards all kinds of people, no matter their music (in)experience - as long as they enjoy rocking. And because it's open to all kings of music genre - as long as it can be rocked.
Lucka Kuhna is kuhna (“kitchen”), because it's not afraid of changing the recipes, well aware that sometimes we have to cook with different ingredients and not only with the ones we want to most, and because it proves that with simple ingredients we can cook a delicious meal.
They especially likes to serve to all those, who love sharp spicy music in an electrically fashionable way.
