Els Suys

workshop host, wax painting, dotpainting

Els Suys, granddaughter of Fernand Toussaint, has been working with wax drawings since the 90's. Making art with wax has been used by the Romans, Greek and Egyptians for more then 2000 thousand years. Its a creative and relaxing proces that teaches us to let go of controle and trust our intuition.

As  grandmother she worked with people from various cultures: Native Americans, Azteks, Wicca's and others.

Els gives workshops in Wax Painting and Dot painting, an Aboriginal art form.

“If you assume that there is no hope, you guarantee that there will be no hope. If you assume that there is an instinct for freedom, that there are opportunities to change things, then there is a possibility that you can contribute to making a better world.”
